The high-end seminar concerning intelligent manufacturing and equipment（Xiamen）which was sponsored by School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Xiamen University and Industrial Technology Research Institute of Xiamen was successfully held in Song En building of Xiamen University on 19 October. The seminar was strongly supported by the Science and Technology Bureau of Xiamen，Economic and Information Bureau of Xiamen and Industrial Technology Research Institute of Xiamen. Hundreds of people were invited to the seminar. They came from the departments in charge of industry and technology，company executives and college teachers and students inside and outside Xiamen province .
The seminar mainly focused on the Internet of Things，Industry 4.0 and the industry transformation process of CPS（ Cyber-Physical System ）.The advantages of intelligent manufacturing technology and the development trend of the future manufacturing were explored in the form of case study. Suggestions were put forward according to the current development of domestic manufacturing.

According to the characteristics and status of companies，enterprise representatives exchanged their ideas with exports on how to implement their own industrial transformation of industry 4.0.
